Sorry, this is kind of late, but here is the recipe some of you wanted for the Asian pasta salad.

1 bottle of plum sauce
1 tsp dark sesame oil
3/4 cup to 1 cup Yoshida Gourmet sauce
16 oz spaghetti, cooked
1/2 lb asparagus or 1/2 lb pea pods
2 cans mandarin oranges
1 red pepper, sliced
1 red onion sliced
add toasted slivered almonds just before serving

Let spaghetti soak overnight with sauce on it. Add more sauce before serving if it needs it. The spaghetti soaks the sauce up as it sits overnight. Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving.

Spinach Rotini Salad
12 oz Multi Grain Rotini
4 oz fresh baby spinach
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup italian dressing
3/4 cup tomatoes, diced
4 oz pepperoni, julienned
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

Superbowl XLIV

The superbowl is just around the corner. You all are invited to watch at our house......we would love to have you. I am thinking about doing pulled pork sandwiches.

Our church is from 1:00 to 4:00, so we can't start until 4:15, but I will have everything recorded so we can watch from the beginning. Please let me or Grandma know if you are coming. See you soon!

Evans big day

Just want to congratulate Evan on his baptism. It was such a special day. Loved the time at the stake center and at the Hofheins for the divine lunch and mingling with friends and family. Thank you. Thank you.

Hi, Family

I've had a long absence from the world of blogging, but here I am again. Can I count this as one of my new year's resolutions? Let's face it, I'm much more likely to blog once a month than to lose that 20 lbs. I've been resolutioning about for the past 20 years.

Just wanted to say how fun bowling and pizza was last night. I bowled a 91, which I think was a personal best, but didn't look that great compared to Nick, who almost broke 200, and grandpa, who was in the high 100's. Clearly, I need to reserve a space in the kids' lane next time. Anyway, I'm glad we could ring in the new year together. I hope it brings nothing but good things to you all.
